WHY WE STARTED MITZVOT
We initiated Mitzvot because we loathed the feeling of helplessness and realized that we have the power to make a positive change. We also understand that others share this sentiment; we aspire to inspire change. Our conviction is simple: every action can be a force for good, no matter how small.
WHO WE ARE
In the spirit of Jewish tradition, where charity is given selflessly, Mitzvot is a group of dedicated Jewish community members united in our mission to make a difference amidst the ongoing conflict. We firmly believe that every mitzvah, large or small, contributes to a greater good. While challenges are expected, our resolve to support those in need remains unwavering. We are here to serve our community and homeland, ensuring that help and hope reach those affected by adversity. Join us in this vital mission; we can make a lasting impact together.

MORE INFO
We recommend that all donations be made with a numerical value of 18. 18 is a significant number in the Jewish community because it corresponds to the Hebrew word "Chai," which means "life."
18 =
The Hebrew term "mitzvah" ( מצו) refers to a commandment good deed. However, we chose to use the plural - Mitzvot ( מצוות). The significance of selecting mitzvot is that we can do many good deeds together; the more good deeds, the more impact one can have. Everything counts, and everything matters. Together with you, mitzvot wants to make a change and make a difference.
Sderot
Where constant rocket attacks leave residents with seconds to seek shelter, many have evacuated but thousands, mostly the elderly and the young remain; Chabad of Sderot is risking their lives to provide food, as the city has been cut off from necessities.
Muluim
We aim to support women in Judea and Samaria whose husbands are on reserve duty, providing them with meals to ease their financial burden as they care for their families.
